Maverick Astrology and Moon Magick

May 2008 (Scroll down for April 2008)

Hints and High LIGHTS for MAY: This is an all systems go month for most of the month… until we reach Memorial Day… and then Mercury slips RETROGRADE first thing. See it coming and get as many priority projects completed ahead of time. Thus use the current clear energy to get things done and put them behind you. Know that the Merry Month of May is the month of the Magician so be ONE. Play with the frolicking nature spirits and live, love, laugh, and be happy. It is a great time to be alive. Do make sure you get some quality time in nature appreciating HER gifts. Most of May is the month of Taurus ruled by Venus… a month for art, beauty, & appreciation of our earthly gifts.
Moon is in a water sign-- MAY 1, 27, 28
Waxing Moon in a water sign-- MAY 9, 10, 17, 18, 19
Favorite day for good magicks-- MAY 18
Use care Mars square & opposition days of-- 4, 25, 17
Avoid depression during Saturn squares-- 3, 6, 20, 22, 26
MAY 1 -- May Day it's time to play and celebrate the magick month of the magician. A good day with good energy as the Moon trines Mars. Venus trines with Saturn and Pluto bringing transformational love opportunities. Moon sextile Jupiter gives a good fortune opportunity, and with the Moon in Pisces folks are sensitive so use this fertile energy positively.
NEW MOON -- in Taurus 5:18 am (Pacific Standard time) on Cinco de Mayo, MAY 5th. Eta Aquarids Meteor Shower will brighten the night sky so take a peek and get inspired. Moon trine Jupiter can bring good fortune.
May 18 -- Best Magick Day: It's the last day before the moon turns over, and it is in the powerful creative fertile sign of Scorpio. Venus (love) Trines Jupiter (fortune) for a most powerful combination. This trine is most harmonious. Take advantage of the celestial influences to plant your chosen seed thoughts. Celebrate the Goddess of the MOON giving birth to HER child, and know it is your own thoughts maturing and manifesting.
FULL MOON night May 19th starts in Scorpio then is void of course at 7:11 pm as the moon is full PDST (Pacific Daylight Saving time) and it quickly goes into Sag. Get your full moon magick work done early to benefit from the fertility of the intense Scorpio energy.
MAY 25 -- Watch out for the Moon opposing Mars as this is the temper tantrum, fist fight, and road rage aspect. Plenty of energy if you can get on the right channel. MAY 26th-- Memorial Day. Of note Mercury goes RETROGRADE, first thing in the morning at 8:48 am. Don't panic, rather stay in your spiritual center and focus on the better aspects of Mercury retro which is planning, working on stalled projects, cleaning out closets and organizing, and seeing established friends. As a reminder, Mercury retro is not a good time to buy a car or a computer-- & it is NOT a time to travel or start new projects. Remember to strive towards patience in communications and use caution regarding contracts. Mercury is retro until June 19th in the morning-- right before Summer Solstice. On the 26th--Coming out of the Mars opposition and a Venus square Saturn… (emotional and domestic challenge) I would strive to get home early if I was traveling this weekend! All in all, a great month. Let's use plenty of LIGHT to TRIUMPH! I will tend to start early, and work extra hard so I can coast a little bit, once Mercury retro hits. Access the POWER of SPIRIT through our opening Paragraph and with our Spirit Helpers and Friends we have the Victory and the Manifestations. Let's win big together, and let's hear your super success stories.

April 2008 (Scroll down for March 2008)

Hints and High LIGHTS for APRIL: This is really another all systems go month with only the outer planets of Saturn and Pluto retrograde. It's official now, SPRING is here, so tune into the celestial rhythms of LIFE and be re-born with all of nature.
Let's completely let go of any winter leftovers and listen to the birds and the sounds of rushing waters and celebrate joyfully the beginning of a new season and a new year to the ancient Romans, and many other ancient peoples. Prune all that is not needed so that you can grow unhindered from limitations of the past. Tune into the LIFE FORCE, experience new energy and celebrate RE-birth; be in tune with the Earth! Be RE-BORN!
Moon is waxing in a water sign-- April 10, April 11, April 20th and the day after the full moon April 21 is also a good day for planting your physical or magickal seeds! Other good days are April 7,8, 12, and 19.
April 1 -- All fool's day! We carry over the festivities and Spring Equinox celebration of the renewal of life by honoring the great Fool… that which is before the beginning. Moon is in Aquarius which can add to the zany fun while the Moon sextiles the sun.
NEW MOON -- in ARIES 8:55pm (Pacific Standard time) on April 5th. This charging Ram fire moon is amplified by the Moon square Mars… a time of caution for those who wish to avoid accidents, road rage, and temper tantrums. There is more energy than normal for a new moon so catch it and channel it constructively if you can.
April 19 -- The Sun enters Taurus… the charging Ram gives way to the plodding more mellow bull. Watch out for the Moon square Mars close to the full moon. This is the new moon's fist fight energy all over again but more intensified. With the Moon square Jupiter the temper tantrum can be an expensive mistake. Also watch out for financial foolishness and excess drinking and eating.
FULL MOON -- in SCORPIO 3:25 am PDST (Pacific Daylight Saving time) on April 20th. It's Passover.April 22-- EARTH DAY. Moon is in Sag in the afternoon which can make folks friendly and in the party mood but the party spirit is dampened with the Moon square Saturn which can make you depressed & feel that life is just hard.
April 23 -- Secretary's day. Well the Saturn challenge of the 22nd bleeds into today and with Venus first squaring Mars and then Jupiter… it is a time to use plenty of extra LIGHT to get through the day. There will be distinct emotional challenges love, sex, fortune. A good day to get you heart broken so ask ISHTAR for some help.
April 24-- With Mars opposing Jupiter your fortune can be challenged so keep playing it safe.
April 30 -- Moon is in Pisces, the sensitive water sign. With the Moon opposed by Saturn don't walk a mile to get your feelings hurt. Instead get ready to play for May day!
All in all, a great time to make forward motion and progress on your physical and spiritual programs. Remember to have fun, access your good spirit friends at least daily and win!

March 2008 (Scroll down for February 2008)

Hints and High LIGHTS for March: This is really an all systems go month with only Saturn retrograde. Gather your energy and strength for the transformation of Winter into Spring. Let go of winter doldrums and prepare to be reborn. Prune all that is not needed so that you can grow unhindered from limitations of the past. Tune into the LIFE FORCE, experience new energy and celebrate RE-birth; be in tune with the Earth! Be RE-BORN! Moon is in an water sign-- 6, 7, 14, 15, 23, 24, 25, and these are better times to launch your magickal seeds!
March 1-- Moon opposing Mars in the morning gives plenty of energy to start your day & month. Use it wisely as the aspect can make you angry.
March 5-- Three eclipses… the Moon conjuncts Mercury, Venus and then Neptune each one with an eclipse! All while the Moon is in the eccentric and unpredictable sign of Uranus. Expect the unusual and starts and stops.
NEW MOON-- in Pisces 9:14 am (Pacific Standard time) on March 7th. Pisces New Moon is a most fertile time for initiating any new project. Feelings can be hurt with the ultra sensitivity of the Moon in Pisces, so use caution in relationships. The Moon sextile Jupiter gives a favorable fortune energy to the day. Do watch out for the Mars opposing Pluto in the early morning… as volatile mysteries, explosions are possible. March 8-- As the moon moves into Aries today, and with the Moon squaring Pluto then Mars… the explosive nature of the new moon is increased. Caution is in order. March 9-- Daylight Savings Time Begins (turn clocks ahead one hour); Moon in Aries March 16-- Palm Sunday has a nice Venus trine Mars… harmony between the perfect lovers, balance between the male and female principles. With the Moon in Leo in the evening folks want to be adored. Give a little attention & you won't be bored! The heart rules tonight! March 17-- St. Patrick's Day. Mercury opposes Saturn so be careful with your communications that they do not author hardship.
VERNAL EQUINOX-- March 19-- Sun Enters Aries, a cardinal fire sign of positive polarity, ruled by Mars-- at 10:49 PDST. This is the Traditional beginning of the ancient Roman new year! SPRING IS THE BEGINNING!
FULL MOON-- in Libra 11:40 am PDST (Pacific Daylight Saving time) on March 21st. Purim and Good Friday. Could be a challenging day with the fullness of the moon while the Sun squares Pluto, then the Moon squares Pluto reflecting the potential for an intense challenge from the unknown. Moon square Mars make the mix volatile and potentially violent… not a night to go to the bars! March 22-- Moon in Libra last night and tonight help to balance the otherwise crazy energy. Moon square Jupiter makes folks financially foolish, extravagant, and excessive in food and drink. Think twice about overdoing… over tipping, over eating and drinking. March 23-- Easter Sunday-- a time of Re-birth with the Moon void of course all day so expect the unexpected and put off important ventures. Moon in Scorpio in the evening will make some feel moody, intense, suspicious. Watch the Scorpio sting. Remember to forgive and forget! ALL IN ALL-- A great month for NEW BEGINNINGS. Touch the opening Power STAR often, and be thankful for SPIRIT'S HELP.

February 2008 (Scroll down for January 2008)

Mercury goes RETROGRADE! So slip into plode mode!" is how we ended our column last month… and it is how the month begins! It is our theme of the month from: January 29th to February 19th! It's shorter than usual, so grin and bear it!
Hints for February: The good news about Mercury retro is that it usually only lasts a little over three weeks… so remember it has a beginning, a middle and an end. I prepare for it like I was going into a swamp… I lighten my load, and only carry with me that which is essential… so on one level it becomes like a mini-vacation because I only pursue that which must be done, and save my energy for more directed motion. So prune unnecessary activity, be patient in communications, stay in your spiritual center (as the spiritual can transcend), don't make major changes of job, friends, or location, and emphasize better aspects of Mercury retro like planning, organizing, cleaning clutter and seeing established friends. Remember February is in the depth of winter which is a time of dormancy… so get your rest!
Highlights of the month include:
New Moon-- February 6th, Moon in Aquarius on Ash Wednesday… expect to be unpredictable from the freedom seeking urge for eccentricity. Mental and communication opportunities as the Sun then the Moon both conjunct Mercury.
Chinese New Year; The RAT: A year of family, and industriousness, and conservation. Good Fortune!
MERCURY GOES DIRECT: Monday February 18th--as the Sun enters Pisces on President's day at 6:57pm-- Pacific Standard Time, USA
FULL MOON -- February 20th…Moon opposes the Sun with a Lunar eclipse at 7:30 pm--PST
ALL IN ALL-- A great month for rest, relaxation, and re-newal. Gather SPIRIT POWER all month long… touch the opening Power STAR often, and be thankful for SPIRIT'S HELP. Contact the POWER of the LIGHT and win big! Let' all expect Really Good Energy all month long-- and all YEAR long-- for ourselves, for each other & our ESP Laboratory-- & family & friends. And it is so!

September 2007 (Scroll down for August 2007)

Our month begins with Venus retro, but relax we are almost through it and Sept 8 is the magick date of directed Venus. So dry your eyes and prepare to fly! Note all times mentioned are Eastern time.
Hint for September: Get through the first 8 days with as much emotional balance as possible. As Venus goes direct, know that the directed energy of the remaining 22 days of the month will give you a good opportunity to gather resources and make things happen. Autumn equinox is a reminder that winter approaches, so enjoy the fruitfulness of the season, and put away stores for the next cycle.Best planting days for your magickal seed thoughts: 13th, 14th, 15th, 23rd, 24th, and 25th.
Highlights of the month include:
September 1 -- We start the month with the moon in the the mellow sign of Taurus… let's keep on keeping on and let's appreciate beauty & pleasure.
September 8-- VENUS GOES DIRECT!!! (12:13 PM) Oh Happy Day! Do note we can still feel the effect of the six week long aspect for a few more days. Folks will tend to be emotionally weary from the last period and the dis-content and dis-satisfaction can carry over for a few more days! Break the chain celebrate with JOY!
September 9-- Saturn eclipse at 10:58 pm… just a little emotional bump as we dis-connect from the Lord of Trade and commerce.
New Moon-- 9-11-07 8:44 am (solar eclipse 5:44 am) This will tend to be a rocky day for most of us with the eclipse making folks restless and afraid, & the Mars square the moon, promoting fist fights and wars (the same aspect occurred the morning of 9-11 when the twin towers fell) and also with the explosive emotions of moon square Pluto. Watch road rage, and avoid confrontation. Lots of energy if you find the right place to put it!
September 13 -- Moon in Libra sextile Jupiter with Mercury sextile Jupiter a good day for communicating and generating good fortune with Venus sextile the moon and the moon trine Jupiter… a LOVEly day.
September 14,15,16-- Moon in Scorpio which tends to make folks intense, suspicious, and moody, but a great time for magickal creation with the waxing moon if you get on the right channel. A power time.
AUTUMNAL EQUINOX, Sun Enters Libra-- Sunday, September 23-- Let's celebrate the turning of the wheel with the harvest time of all the best we have put forward in the past many months. This is time of thanksgiving also known as the Celtic Festival of the Vine,
ALBAN ELVED. Celtic godforms honored are Mabon, Lord of the Harvest, Bran, and Branwen. Traditions: Feasting, Harvesting, Fishing, Wine pressing.
Eve of Full Moon-- Traditional Harvest Feast Tuesday, Sept 25-- Moon in Pisces, folks can be emotionally sensitive and with the Moon square Jupiter right before the full moon it is easy to be generous to the point of financial foolishness. It is also easy to overindulge and eat and drink too much. So celebrate just right!
Full Harvest Moon -- Sept 26 Woden's day 3:45pm in the sign of Aries… a time of great enthusiasm. Watch out as we relive the Mars square energy and Pluto square energy of 9 -11. Watch your P's and Q's and especially be careful of head injuries this day. An opportunity for productivity and watch your step, and driving! There will be more road rage and more accidents this day.
September 27, 28, 29-- The feast of the Moon Mother… three more days to feast and celebrate with some good fortune and good loving aspects on the 27th. Honor the Mother of All! A time of wish fulfillment.
ALL IN ALL-- A fabulous month for accomplishment. Use the LIGHT and win big! Let us hear of your success!!

August 2007 (Scroll down for July 2007)

We just had an overview of the celestial pattern for August earlier in the newsletter so check out CELESTIAL TIDES. Our month begins in the outgoing sign of Leo, the majestic lion, the sun. However since Venus is retrograde all month it is time for most of us to shelter our more vulnerable emotions and stay at home! That is unless we want to share our emotional feelings in public!Highlights of the month include:
August 1 -- we are still riding high on the full moon's energy (from July 29th). Watch out for the financial foolish aspect of Jupiter square the moon. A time of feasting, extravagance, and tipping the waitress too much.
New Moon-- in Leo at 7:02 pm (Eastern time) on August 12, also the night of the Perseids meteor shower. Everyone wants attention & to be loved.
Sun Enters Virgo-- August 23rd 8:08 am (Eastern time) with the Moon in Sag. Virgo the sign of the teacher ruled by discriminating, analytical Mercury. We are reminded to prepare for Fall.
Full Moon-- (with a Lunar Eclipse) on 6:35 am (Eastern time) on August 28th in Pisces. The Pisces moon will make everyone tend to feel emotional and vulnerable especially with Venus retro and the full moon intensity, and with the lunar eclipse there can be panic. Don't walk a mile to get your feelings hurt! With the Mars square the Moon there can be fights. Watch your temper!!

July 2007 (Scroll down for June 2007)

We just had an overview of the celestial pattern for the summer earlier in the newsletter so check out CELESTIAL TIDES. We begin the month of July with Mecury retrograde until the the late evening of the 9th. Use plenty of orange light to wash away the confusion during this period. Then to the 27th, all the inner planets are direct so go for it then, if you are going to go for it in July. Big news is that Venus goes retrograde late Freyaday night on the 27th for six weeks until mid day September 8th, so all of August is under this onerous aspect, which is my least favorite other than the combo of Venus and Mercury retro at the same time… and we have them in the same month. Again the thought of "get through it" and be aware of the directed times of July 10th to July 27th so you can get something done this summer. Highlights of the month include:
New Moon-- 8:04 AM Eastern Daylight Time in the morning on July 14th then goes Void of Course in Cancer.
July 16th-- Watch out for a fiery Monday with the Moon square Mars while the Moon is in the fiery sign of Leo. Expect drama but don't get caught up in it, and don't fight.
Sun Enters Leo-- July 23rd with the Moon in Scorpio.
July 27th-- Venus goes retro 1:27 PM (EDS time) so make a pact to be still be friends 6 weeks from now. Not a time to change jobs, friends, location, beliefs for six weeks as the tendency is for everyone to feel dis-satisfied about everything for six weeks… so don't let it get to you… just ride out the storm and know it is just a fading dream.
Full Moon-- in Aquarius at 8:48 pm EDS Time… June 29th watch out for the nuts, especially the sad emotional vulnerable ones… as Venus is retro and it challenges each one emotionally in a different way.

June 2007 (Scroll down for May 2007)

Well we are trying to accommodate some readers' requests for larger type and with all that is going on, we did not have room for the Astro Column where it usually belongs… and we also have some readers that want our Astro Column… so we are striving to be accommodating. We can never fit in all the interesting aspects so if you are planning something important and want a reference e-mail Sami
Best planting days: 15th & 16th with the Moon in Cancer but then use caution as Mercury goes retro on the 15th. Hint for June: Power out for the first two weeks and trim travel, purchases and events for the last half of the month.
June 1-- We're still riding high on the energy of the Blue Full Moon the day before in Sag… at 9:04 pm Eastern time so there is plenty of fun energy for good times and forward motion. Happy Friday!
June 2-- Watch out for restless excitable minds as the Moon opposes Mercury.
June 3-- And then the temper tantrum/wars aspect of the Moon square Mars… flip it for productivity.
June 4-- Mars trines Jupiter-- a day of high energy with incredible opportunities for good fortune. Don't let the heart break energies of the Moon opposing Venus later in the day bring you down.
June 14-- NEW MOON in Gemini… wait til the moon in Cancer the following day to plant your magick seed thoughts and start new projects.
June 15-- (drum roll please and trumpet fanfare) Mercury goes Retrograde at 7:40 pm EST. Don't panic, say less not more, and be patient in communications 'til July 9th, when it goes direct in the evening.
June 17-- Father's Day Sunday is a day of fiery volatile emotions with the Moon square Mars and with the moon in Leo, everyone will want to be the center of attention and will fight to get there.
June 21-- SUMMER SOLSTICE-- Sun enters Cancer at 2:07 pm EST. This is the high point of the solar year and a great opportunity for spiritual development… so be magickal and creative and win big!
June 24-- Caution is suggested, especially when the Moon enters Scorpio in the evening as Mars moves into Taurus and the Moon opposes Mars. Powerful energies can get out of hand with the potential for violence unless the energy is directed. Watch out for suspicious natures and intense moodiness and tempers out of control with stubbornness.
June 30-- FULL MOON in Capricorn at 9:49 EST-- We start and end the month with full moon energy. This does give us a great opportunity to tune into the potency of magick to power our lives. The full moon represents the high point of our watery nature-- sub conscious, emotional, and spiritual. The ancient earth people regarded the full moon as the pregnant mother, full with our thoughts, giving birth to the child of light… so feast with the Goddess and celebrate life.

May 2007 (Scroll down for April 2007)

Howdy and welcome back to our fun astro column. For this merry month of Spring we have more directed energy than at any other time until September as our Summer starts with Mercury retro for three+ weeks followed by Venus retro until early September. So the news is-- if you have something you want to get done… do it NOW! May Day, May 1st is one of the eight points of the wheel one of the eight grove festivals that were observed and celebrated by the ancient peoples who tuned into the seasons of the Earth, into the seasons of the Sun and Moon. So celebrate, dance to the music of the nature spirits and the stars and your merry spirit band. Dance and claim your good for the next cycle and for the next year. May is for play and for Magick… it is said those born in the month of May are natural magickians so if this is your Birth month, then claim and know all the natural magicks that you are and shine like a star! May 2nd brings the FULL MOON in Scorpio an intense and powerful time of re-generation, moving into the moon in Sag the next day, May 3rd, encouraging a friendlier vibration, so party! Hearty!
But I would take a lil care to calm it down a bit for Cinco de Mayo… there is Mars square the moon and Mercury square Saturn and a moon opposing Venus so all together it could mean fist fights, bad words with depression and hard heart ache… not the night to celebrate an anniversary or throw a party! Venus enters the wet sign of Cancer on May 8th… on Don Rickles Birthday. Get ready to have your fancy tickled for the rest of the month! As we cruise into Mother's Day, May 13th, use care as the Moon squares Venus (heartbreak) as Mars squares Pluto (explosive temper tantrums) moving into a Jupiter trine (good fortune) in the evening. Ride the Jupiter trine and the energies of Mars and Pluto to start your week strong and finish your lunar cycle strong as on May 16th the Moon is New and void of Course though it starts the day in Taurus and ends in Gemini. It can be a confusing day with the Moon Saturn square making you feel like life can be hard. The Moon opposed by Jupiter can make you financially foolish on the 17th and the aspect is strengthened by the Mercury opposing Jupiter on the 19th to make thoughts and words that can challenge your fortune so watch your p's and q's Armed Services Day, especially with the Moon square Mars promoting wars. On Monday the 21st the Sun enters Gemini so we began a cycle of mental activity and expect to experience both sides of your personality. Memorial weekend will start for some on Friday May 25th… watch out for excitable minds and explosive emotions with anger management needed with the Moon square Mercury, square Pluto and then opposing Mars! Memorial Day itself is somewhat nicer with the opportunity for deep communication with the Moon trine Mercury as Mercury moves into Cancer, and beware of the Moon in Scorpio, watch out for the sting and remember to forgive and forget. As we get to the end of the month we have a special treat a blue moon which is a 2nd FULL MOON in Sagittarius… so use this double whammy magick energy to good fortune and make this the best month this year. Use plenty of LIGHT; & know this is a month for Victory! After Victory… Take all the Mars action and use it to push things forward.

April 2007 (Scroll down for March 2007)

Well Mercury went direct March 7th but I am writing this article March 3rd and 4th… so please bear with me as I strive for clarity. We begin with All Fool's Day… one of feasting and merriment, and honoured by the Romans as an end to winter. Multiple holiday/holydays with Palm Sunday April first before the FULL MOON in Libra on April 2nd at 1:15 Eastern daylight time, followed by Passover on April 3rd.
Makes for kind-of-a-crazy beginning of the month with unconventional and possibly explosive situations on the first with a challenge to the heart with Venus square Saturn, but by the 3rd things will improve a day of good fortune, balance, and good energy. There is a lot of fire energy on Friday April 6th, a Good Friday. Watch the temper that day as Moon squares Mars. Flip the energy and have a productive energetic day rather than a fist fight or an accident! Easter Sunday April 8th is a reasonably social day with the moon in Sag and lots of trines and conjunctions that day. Watch the excessive talking that wears everybody out! Friday the 13th can be a good time to get your feelings hurt as the moon enters sensitive Pisces and the Moon squares Venus.
The NEW MOON is on April 17th… we hope you have your taxes filed as the new moon is always a time of new beginnings and starting over. With the moon moving into Taurus things mellow and it is a good time for enjoyment of the good life and pursuing financial stability. Sun entersTaurus 7:07 am Eastern time, a practical, conservative, yet materialistic earth sign.
Best planting days for your above ground crops and your thoughts are the 21st, the 22nd, when the waxing moon is in the fertile sign of Cancer. We also have the April Lyrids Meteors (21st) and Earth Day the 22nd a nice nice day with Moon trine Mars and Uranus. Watch the 23rd as Venus square Mars is a fight between perfect lovers, with Moon square Mercury giving restless excitable minds. Overall a terrifc month for forward progress. Use the Light to prevail!

March 2007 (Scroll down for February 2007)

OOPS, We begin the month with Mercury still retrograde but don't worry and don't panic it goes direct on March 7th at 11:45 pm Pacific Time USA. Do take extra care to use the ORANGE LIGHT of ILLUMINATION to promote Mental Clarity during this last week as sometimes the last few days of the Mercury retro swamp can seem almost unbearable… the LIGHT will help you get through… use the RAMA AGNI chant with it to "SWEEP AWAY THE CLOUDS OF MIND AND LEAVE CONFUSION FAR BEHIND!" Remember patience in communications, say less not more, and strive to be in your spiritual center as SPIRIT is TRANCENDENT over any and all astrological influences. The FULL MOON is in Virgo on March 03, and there is a LUNAR ECLIPSE the same night at the same time 6:17 pm Pacific Time. Lunar eclipses can be unsettling as our primeval selves are afraid the world is coming to an end… so stay centered in the LIGHT and KNOW everything is OK! On March 4th we ride the full moon energy with PURIM a Jewish holiday and festival of FREEDOM, celebrated with much fun and enthusiasm… catch your share of the day's JOY but be careful as the Moon squares Jupiter that day which can lead to extravagance, overindulgence, and financial foolishness.
And then March 7th aah, Mercury finally goes direct… it can never do it fast enough to suit me! On the 8th is International Women's Day and watch out as the moon is in the secretive sign of Scorpio and folks can be suspicious and moody. The Moon squares Mars that morning and this is a temper tantrum, fist fights and accident prone aspect but if you can get on the right channel there is a lot of power in the air if you can push it in the right direction. The 9th is a very square day with the Moon squaring Saturn, the Sun squaring Jupiter, the moon squaring Neptune and then Mercury… squares provide opportunities for growth though facing challenges. With the Moon still in Scorpio this may be a good day to punt the important projects to next week!
On the 10th the moon slips into Sag, and people feel more like partying than criticizing each other. So let's get friendly, let's get social on the 11th as DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME BEGINS. There are quite a few aspects all together on the 16th… and with the moon in Aquarius in can be a crazy unpredictable day but with the Moon sextiling Jupiter and then Jupiter trining Saturn there are a number of financial opportunities seeking you. The Moon opposes Saturn the same day and this can make you feel depressed or that life is just hard. Expect the unpredictable with multiple Pluto aspects with Mercury, Venus and the Moon while Mercury sextiles Venus and then is conjunct with the Moon while eclipsing. There may be some unusual love communications and some from the past. This exotic combo leads us into St. Partricks' Day on the 17th, as the moon enters Pisces, while sextiling Venus and then moves into Taurus. This makes me think it could be a great day to make love under the sun and set the new lunar cycle in motion in a dynamic fashion.
The NEW MOON is still in Pisces at 10:43 pm on the 18th and there is a SOLAR ECLIPSE at the same time… all of these eclipses (starting with a Saturn eclipse on March 1) can make for a disruptive unsettled month… don't let it get to you… that's what turning to SPIRIT is all about. And this new moon at the edge of Spring is a most powerful time to plant your seeds. The VERNAL EQUINOX is on March 20th as the SUN moves into ARIES at 8:08 pm! This was the beginning of the year for many ancient cultures and still is! With three trines that day there is good energy to begin again! With the Moon sextiling Mercury and then conjunct Venus there is good energy for the second day of Spring also, but watch out on the 22 when the Moon is in the bull headed sign of Taurus cuz there is another MARS SQUARE with a SATURN square and NEPTUNE square… and just make sure you don't hurt anybody or get too depressed! We end the month with a second Saturn eclipse and a waxing moon… use the new SPRING energy to get things rolling in a positive direction. Good planting days: 21, 22, 25 & 26. Venus and Saturn are visible in the night sky! Walk with LIGHT & Be fine! Celebrate LIFE and be ALL RIGHT!

February 2007 (Scroll down for January 2007)

Our month begins with the FULL MOON happening in the mid-evening (9:45 pm Pacific time) on February 1. With the moon in Leo folks are feeling dramatic and want attention. Sets the pace for a melodramatic Ground Hog Day, Feb. 2. A time of divination, the ancient ways are remembered by the masses as we tune into nature for a glimpse of the future. This is a Magick day, one of the eight points of the Great Wheel… Candlemass to some, or the Celtic Candle Festival-- the feast of the maiden, or Bridgid's feast of the returning light-- a transition time from winter to spring… a time of cleansing, internal, and external… body, mind, spirit.
The energy is riding high this day and expect good fortune coming your way with the moon trine Jupiter and also-- an almost two week opportunity for sensitive communication as Mercury moves in Pisces. Make the most of it as Mercury goes retrograde the 13th at 8:38 pm Pacific time-- until March 7th. Personally I will hustle the first two weeks of the month and before. With Mercury retro there tends to be communication breakdown and frustration… so I am going to get my work done early so I can relax. My plan to survive Mercury retro is ONLINE at www.ESPLab.com. The high lights are: 1) don't panic 2) say less 3) be patient… this especially applies to all communications. It is a time to stay the course. Don't let your frustration level get to the point that you quit your job or change your significant other or locale.
It's fun to celebrate Chinese New Year as we get to say, Happy New year again, or GUNG HO FAT CHOI Year 4705 of the Wild Boar. Chinese astrology is in cycles of twelve so if you will be 60 years old this year, you are a boar! Or 12, 24, 36, 48, and so on. My beautiful black Great Dane Lola is a "Wild Pig" and she will be twelve years old this year, on Halloween (Way to go LOLA, Al named her an ESP Lab mascot… just for fun you can see her Web site: www.DancingDanes.com) A year of good fortune, especially if you catch the boar and have him for a supper feast for your tribe. On the other hand the year has risks for if the boar gets to your garden before you get to him, well then, it is not feasting time! Set your new Chinese year with expectations of good fortune and feasting, but make sure all your protective boundaries are up!!! After all it is the winter season, and the light has only begun to return. Maintain your own sense of light and shine bright to help dispel the darkness. But most of all remember it is the time of dormancy, renewal, regeneration, and preparation for new growth. Spring is just around the corner… start to get ready. Chinese New Year begins with the New moon on February 18th. Moon in Pisces that morning would make it an especially fertile time, however Al would consider the Mercury retrograde period a ppor time to start new projects, unless essential. Plod through it. Use plenty of ORANGE LIGHT, and use it to have fun, be clear, be inspired!

January 2007 (Scroll down for December 2006)

Happy New year to all of us. May it be the best year yet! Watch out for the triple square new year's eve… with the moon squaring Neptune, Saturn, then Uranus… it's easy to be overly emotional, drink too much, and get depressed, and then get unconventional, while in the sensual and bull headed sign of Taurus. We're not trying to depress you, just get you prepared as this will lead to the temper tantrum aspect of the moon opposing Mars the next day, the first day of the year. Give your liver and head a break and don't over-indulge… instead meditate and let go of past losses, and get ready to receive new blessings!
Our beautiful moon is FULL January 3rd at 6:57 am Mountain time, in Cancer, However, with the moon void of course the rest of the day, expect the unexpected and don't push the river. On January 18, the New Moon is in Capricorn at 9:01 pm (Mountain time again) and there is a nice Venus sextile Neptune earlier that evening which brings a harmonious blend of Love and Intuition to start the lunar cycle. Let's note the winter cycle is a time of introspection, reflection, dormancy, and rest… Let's be in tune with the natural cycle and relax and rejuvenate. Coming Next month: Celebrate Chinese New Year 4705… and take a peek at your Chinese Astrology! and nowCelebrate new beginnings!

December 2006 (Scroll down for November 2006)

The full moon is in Geminii on December 5th at 5:25 pm Pacific Time. The new moon is void of course in Sag at 6:01 PT on December 20th, and then moves into Capricorn. The LIGHT returns and the new solar year begins on December 21, 2006 as the sun enters Capricorn at 4:23 PM PT. As the light decreases before the winter solstice it is the darkest time of the year. Hang bright lights and wear bright colors and chase the darkness away. Use the new solar year to begin again. Have fun & win big and often. LET THE LIGHT PREVAIL! A GREAT WAY TO START THE YEAR!

November 2006 (Scroll down for October 2006)

November 1st is a Grand Sabbat a time for enjoyment and renewal. Halloween night (October 31st) we have the waxing moon in the sensitive sign of Pisces, with the moon trine Mars, the Sun and Venus… expect plenty of good energy, with love, and fertility. The day of the first is a little tricky with a Uranus /Moon eclipse. Watch out for Mercury squaring Saturn as it could turn into a time of depressing communications… potentially volatile with the moon square Pluto bringing explosive emotions and the moon in Pisces making folks feel vulnerable and insecure.
The full moon is in the bull headed sign of Taurus at 4:58 am Pacific time on November 5, 2006. With Mercury retro, and the moon opposing Venus and Mercury, then squaring Saturn, we have strong energy emphasizing heart break, communication break down with restless excitable minds, followed by depression and the feeling life is hard. I will tend to be in seclusion, introspection and personal meditation this day, and will limit my contact with others.
Other High Lights-- November 7th Election day will have the moon in Gemini with Mercury conjunct Venus… you are thinking about what you love. November 11th is Veterans day…which can be dramatic with the Moon in Leo. Watch excitable minds with the Moon square Mercury and then the Moon square aggressive Mars both in the evening. New Moon is in Scorpio at 2:18 pm Pacific time November 2oth… fertile beginnings with the Moon conjunct Jupiter. November 22 the Sun enters friendly Sagisttarius. And Thanksgiving Day Jupiter moves into Sag. So let the good times roll. Have fun & win big!

October 2006 (Scroll down for September 2006)

October is the time of our Harvest Full Moon, this year occurring on October 6th, in Aries at 8:13 pm Pacific time. Many of the old people, the earth people celebrate this as true Halloween. It is time to harvest the best of the garden of our lives, discard the chaff, and prepare for the new cycle (Spring). Join with us in our Cozmic Conference call in celebration. This harvest also is a preparation for the winter cycle… when the earth rests. It is a reminder of the cycles of the seasons of our souls-- and our material bodies which need to have supplies, especially as we reach the twilight time of our earthly existence.
October begins with an increasing moon, moving into Yom Kippur on October 2-- Hebrew for day of atonement, and in Judaism, a most sacred holy day. It is a day of fasting and prayer for forgiveness for sins committed during the year. Forgiveness is healthy for you, no matter what religion you practice… so let's join with our Jewish brothers and sisters and let go and forgive. The day has a nice Venus trine the moon which is a good loving harmony. Watch out for the v/c (void of course moon) on most of Columbus day, the 9th, as actions taken produce unexpected results… with the Moon opposing Jupiter it can be a day of extravagance and financial foolishness, and the Moon squaring Saturn can make you feel depressed so don't go shopping this day!
Use caution on the 7th, 13th, 29th, as we have either a Moon square Mars or opposing Mars. There is lots of energy, but also the tendency to experience rage, accidents, fist fights, and wars… instead use the energy to consciously get something done. The New Moon is in Libra on October 21, 2006 10:14pm Pacific time. Let's leave behind all negative conditions and situations and set in motion our brightest thoughts and emotions for a healthy, whole, successful lunar cycle. October 22 has the Moon in Scorpio with a Mercury sextiling Jupiter. This could be a good time to launch a communication that brings good fortune. The Sun enters Scorpio the following day on the 23rd. Big bad Mercury goes retrograde on the 28th. Take care of priority projects early so that you can coast as much as possible from the 28th until November 17th. It helps me flip this energy by trimming all the extra projects, being patient in communications, and focusing on better aspects of Mercury retro like seeing old friends, planning, cleaning out closets and working on stalled projects. ESPecially strive to stay in your spiritual center during the Mercury retrograde. You can find more on Mercury retro on our Web site: www.ESPLab.com.

This is a terrific month to get things done. Use your Power Star and turn to the Power of the LIGHT and Spirit Guidance and help to make this a month of super accomplishments…My favorite planting days for your crops and thoughts are: 4, 5, 9, 21, 22, 23, 24, & 31. Blessed be, Sami (Carol is taking a break from this & she will return soon with more good words.)

September 2006 (Scroll down for August 2006)

We start the month of September with only Uranus, Neptune and Pluto in the retro mode, and Pluto goes direct on Labor Day. This is an all-systems-go month.
Here are some highlights:
Moon in Sag on Friday night Sept. 1, brings a party vibe, especially with the Moon trine Venus. Love and fun. This is a good start to the long Labor day weekend. Early Saturday morning will bring Mars square the Moon, so "flip the energy" by promising yourself to be nice and avoid road rage and hurting anyone. Sunday the 3rd should mellow somewhat as Mercury trines the Moon and sextiles Jupiter as the Moon sextiles Jupiter too. Could be some good communication that offers a fortunate opportunity. Claim your good now! On Labor Day-- the 4th-- Mars trines the Moon early in the day, giving vitality for the trip home, but watch out for the delays between 7:24 am and 11:15 am PT as the moon is void of course so naturally expect the unexpected.
Some times of importance:
LABOR DAY – Sept 4th with the Moon in Capricorn/Aquarius in the second quarter. FULL MOON-- is on September 7 in Pisces, with a LUNAR ECLIPSE. Folks will be extra sensitive and emotional. NEW MOON: September 22nd in Virgo/Libra – with a SOLAR ECLIPSE-- the Sun moves into Libra the same day, 9:04 pm Pacific Time is the Autumnal Equinox-- Be sure and Celebrate the traditional PaganThanksgiving. Feast & enjoy LIFE! Eclipses make the primal person within afraid that their world is ending. Be brave and know the LIGHT springs ETERNAL! ROSH HASHANAH (beginning of Jewish New Year)– Sept 23rd with the Moon in Libra in the 1st Quarter. RAMADAN (a time of fasting for traditional Islam) begins – SEP 24TH-- with the moon in Libra/Scorpio.
Best days for planting ideas, projects and garden could be: September 6, 7, 8, 14,15, 16, 17, 24, 25, 26, & 27. A great month for the beginning of harvest times and starting again. Use your POWER STAR & personal angels to help you be the Victory. Blessed be, Carol & Sami

August 2006 (Scroll down for July 2006)

We begin the month of August with only the very outermost planets of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto in the retrograde mode. We can really consider this an all systems go month. Let's enjoy it to the fullest.
Sure there will be challenges, but let's reprogram and "flip" more difficult alignments of the planets – we simply move them into their most positive positions that benefit all. How's that for a novel concept? It's like the Gnostic Magick attitude of re-programming negative energy into your new good fortune. Cozmic Carol sez that the best planting and project launching days look to be August 6, 8, 16, 17, 19, 23, 24, and 26. You can find her astro comments with key words for each day of August on www.esplab.com.
The Moon is increasing as it moves into the intense sign of Scorpio to start the month on August 1, while it sextiles Mars, bringing a nervous excitement. Folks can be friendly on August 4th with the Moon in the party sign of Sagitarius-- but watch the Moon square Mars and Uranus that day. It is a day of freedom seeking and one can get upset, especially if that freedom is obstructed which it naturally could be. The Full Moon in Uranus on August 9th (see conference call info in doin's) can lead to zany behaviour, especially with the Moon squaring Jupiter the night before, encouraging financial foolishness, and extravagance with food and drink.
Mercury enters the sign of Leo on August 10th... beginning a new period of dramatic communications. Be careful to contain the drama that day, as the Moon is in the sensitive sign of Pisces (when folks can walk a mile to get their feelings hurt) as the Moon opposes Mars (which can lead to temper tantrums and fist fights). If you flip this energy, there will be a lot of opportunity for good energy, especially with the good fortune aspect of the Moon trine Jupiter. On August 10th Venus joins Mercury in the sign of Leo so there is the opportunity for outstanding communications in love... especially that Satyrday as Venus trines the Moon and Mercury trines the Moon which is in the initiating fire sign of Aries. Mars opposes the Moon again on the 17th... flip it for good energy or experience it for road rage and greater potential for accidents.
The Sun enters Virgo on the 22nd, before the new moon in Virgo on August 23 (see conference call info in doin's). This is a great opportunity to clean up your house and life and start with fresh attitude. Watch your temper on the 29th when Mars opposes Pluto with the moon in Scorpio... forgive, forget, and don't hurt anyone! Overall this has the potential of being a very good month so do use the power star on our front page and ask for lots of help from your TexLab Spirits and let's make this a month of super fun progress for us all.
Blessed be we, Carol & Sami

Mini thoughts for each astrological sign:
Aries: Feeling the need for some attention? A steamy love affair may come your way. Midmonth, you don’t see people as they are, but as you wish them to be. Listening will give youclues to real personalities and motives.
Rewarding days: 12, 13
Challenging days: 26, 27, 28
Taurus: Early in the month, someone reaches that sensuous, sexy side you try to keep hidden but can’t, and you get swept off your down-to-earth feet. Even a Taurus can move too quickly. Take time to evaluate.
Rewarding days: 14, 15
Challenging days: 1, 2, 3, 29, 30
Gemini: You’re in a practical mode, but your responses are quicker midmonth, when you feel rushed to rearrange your life. You could be moving and not everyone is happy about it.
Rewarding days: 16, 17, 18
Challenging days: 4, 5, 31
Cancer: People are mysterious. You’ll find them hard to communicate with, and you have to work to get to know them. The situation improves midmonth.
Rewarding days: 19, 20
Challenging days: 6, 7, 8
Leo: You may be traveling for work, or getting behind on ordinary tasks. Keep people apprised if you can’t follow through on promises. You are more organized, perhaps in a leadership role, starting midmonth.
Rewarding days: 21, 22, 23
Challenging days: 8,9
Virgo: You are motivated to break with the past if something isn’t working. Potential mates have unvoiced desires but they are sending plenty of body language. Say “No” if you don’t want the same things, too.
Rewarding days: 24, 25
Challenging days: 10, 11
Libra: When you’re ready for change, the answers come; problems solve themselves through your intuition and understanding. Compromise and forgiveness are important midmonth.
Rewarding days: 26, 27, 28
Challenging days: 12, 13
Scorpio: The timing is right for you to ask mentors for favors. Chronic delays make it seem odds are against you unless you are adaptable. Don’t be afraid to redo things.
Rewarding days: 1, 2,3, 29, 30
Challenging days: 14, 15, 16
Sagittarius: You need a Plan B early in the month, but by midmonth you’re one-up on everyone because you’re practical, intuit trends, and get concrete results. You can apply this approach to making money, too.
Rewarding days: 4, 5, 31
Challenging days: 16, 17, 18
Capricorn: Accumulate possessions, status, and security, but postpone a long vacation. Midmonth, people meet you halfway, which is good if you have to redo things.
Rewarding days: 6, 7, 8
Challenging days: 19, 20

Rewarding days: 8, 9
Challenging days: 21, 22, 23
Pisces: An intense union can take you to the heights of sensitivity. Midmonth, your knees tremble at the thought of taking your relationship to the next level—you need to say so.
Rewarding days: 10, 11
Challenging days: 24, 25

July 2006 (Scroll down for June 2006)

This month begins with a bunch of retrogrades: Jupiter , Pluto , Neptune & Uranus retro. Who really cares that much as these are the outer planets... but then (small drumroll please):
Mercury goes retrograde on July 4th to the 28th. Happy Holiday!? Carol would have us flip the energy! Good luck! Sami is crazy enough to give it a try and... Let's use the time to trim non-essentials from your schedule, as you focus on your spiritual center and have patience with all communications as you slip into a plod through it mode. Check out Al's commentary in the editorial section and Sami's survival plan in the self help program.
The moon is Void of Course on the following days: July 4, 6, 11, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 29, 31. Caution is suggested during void of course moons as actions taken can produce unexpected results. Best planting days are: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,10, 30, & 31. However, Al would urge caution in planting during a Mercury retro, due to the confusion factor.
Some potentially challenging days needing extra light are: July 5th-- first full day of Mercury retro, with multiple squares and a Mars opposition to Neptune, and July 6th-- Moon square Mars can = fist fights and temper tantrums especially with the Moon in Scorpio... remember to forgive and forget. There is a lot of energy available if you can handle it right.
June 9th has Venus trine Neptune... a time of loving intuition and our cozmic coffee clutch... tune in via phone or the astral (more info in CLASS NOTES), followed by the Full Moon in Capricorn on July 10th. With the Moon sextile Jupiter, this could be a time of good fortune, and Mercury moving into Cancer that day can inspire a loving communication cycle. Let's celebrate our winnings big time!
On June 12th the moon is opposed by Saturn, which can promote depression and the feeling that life is hard. Keep your chin up baby, but avoid the aggressive energy of the Moon opposing Mars, the next day. Rather focus on the Moon trine Venus and make love not war. A similar pattern happens with Moon square Saturn on July 18th followed by the Moon square Mars on July 19th. Try not to be to bull headed about your depression and anger on those two days while the Moon is in Taurus.
There is a nice Moon trine Jupiter on the 23rd, with the Moon in Cancer... right before the New Moon in Leo following on July 25th (East Coast time-- July 24th West Coast time). The new moon is a time of letting go and starting again. New moon in Leo can be entertaining and then Mercury brings us joy and forward motion as it goes direct on the 28th.
Remember, on the days that give us energies we'd prefer to change, just consciously flip the energy. Sort of like flipping a coin. Expect the best and with our TexLab Spirit band, you know we'll be just fine. All in all... a great month for being alive with plenty of opportunity to spread the light... In spite of the Mercury retro!

June 2006 (Scroll down for May 2006)

June is a month of many challenges but we ESP Lab members have the tools with Spiritual Science and our Lab Spirit Helpers to fix whatever needs fixing. We don’t have retrogrades (except for some of the outer planets) however there are a number of planets "talking" a lot to each other. We begin the month on the 1st with Mercury in opposition to Pluto and the Moon squaring Jupiter. It’s a pretty powerful situation. Use plenty of light to start the month right!
Venus will sextile Uranus June 10th, and this looks like an unconventional love affair. On the 11th there’s a FULL MOON in Sagittarius. PARTY TIME! I can hear Al saying, “I’ll drink to that.” So have fun! The 14th is FLAG DAY. Watch your pocket book then as we will all tend to eat too much, drink too much and spend too much with the Moon square Jupiter. Watch your temper too that day with the Moon opposing first Mars then Saturn. The 18th ushers in FATHER’S DAY. The love can flow with the Moon sextile Venus, but watch out for explosive emotions with the Moon squaring Pluto. On the 21st we have the Moon in Taurus and the Sun entering Cancer to begin the SUMMER SOLSTICE. This is the longest day of the year.
For you witches out there, this is a time to venture out into the forest or garden and cut wood for the making of wands. Sai Baba, the Hindu Master, indicates this is the day of the year that has the maximum opportunity for spiritual growth. And it doesn't look like an easy day to us with the Moon first squaring Saturn and then squaring Mars... while the Moon is in the sometimes stubborn sign of the Bull, Taurus. Looks like it could be a time of sad, emotional bull fights.
Of course, all we need to do is simply flip the energy and use it for good! In one hand hold the negative energy and in the other hold the positive side of the energy. Now bring both hands together and feel the energies merging, changing and flipping into positive energy. Use this technique and WIN. Now we come to the New Moon in Cancer on the 25th. Use this fertile time to leave behind the past that holds you back as you plants your seeds of growth, love, and abundance for the new lunar cycle.
Love and Light,
Carol & Sami

May 2006 (Scroll down for April 2006)

The merry month of May begins with only Jupiter and Pluto in the retrograde mode. They are joined by Neptune on the 23rd... the outer planets however, have less influence so this is really no problem. All systems go, all month long! Take time for rest and relaxation, too.
Some good planting days for ideas, projects and your seedlings for your garden could be: May 2,12,20,29,& 30 when the moon is in water signs.
May Day on the first... can be a little dis-jointed and emotionally challenging with first Pluto opposing the moon and then Venus squaring the moon. Take care to balance your emotions, especially with the moon in Cancer. But remember to fly high on the energy of this holiday anyway.
Cinco de mayo on the fifth... Mercury moves into Taurus bringing festive conversations while celebrating spring renewals. EEEhaa! With the moon in Leo, everyone wants to be in the center of the stage or at least, treated like a star.
May 7th could be a good money day, with first Mars trining Jupiter and then the moon sextiling Jupiter and Mars. The opportunity is enhanced with the Moon trine the Sun and Venus trine Saturn. Mercury squares Saturn towards the end of the day, so be extra careful that your confused brain and tongue doesn't get you into trouble at the last minute.
Full moon a week later 11:51 pm in the evening of the 12th for the California folks. Tune into the Wesach Full Moon-- see class notes!
The full moon is in Scorpio... a good time to cut your hair. Remember to forgive and forget especially since people will tend to be moody and impulsive. Use plenty Orange Light of RA to power your way through this one. AUM!
We're still riding high from the energy of the full moon as we reach Mother's day, May 14. With the moon in Sag people will want to party, and be friendly, but more on a superficial basis. Mid afternoon there is a moon trine Venus which is a good time to express your love. But go home before it gets too late as Mercury squares Neptune... making it harder to feel your emotions or think clearly.
The Sun enters Gemini in the last quarter of the moon (20th), so get ready for more talking and mental action. With the moon in Pisces folks can walk a mile to get their feelings hurt.
Watch out for Venus square Mars and the Moon square Mars both on the same day... May 23rd with the moon in fiery Aries! The perfect lovers Venus and Mars are fighting and it could get emotional! Use the energy!
New Moon 10:26 pm PST on the 26th... watch out for unconventional communications that are challenging... make sure you get the new moon started right, with good thoughts, good emotions, and good actions.
Memorial Day Weekend should be kinda nice... especially Memorial Day itself-- May 29th. On that day Venus moves into Taurus which is good for lovemaking and beautiful sensous experiences. ESPecially with the moon in Cancer... good emotions for all and with the moon trining Jupiter in the afternoon it gives you a nice financial opportunity in the middle of all this fun! Use the energy in the Merry Magickal Month of May to win again and again! Let us hear of your success!

April 2006 (Scroll down for March 2006)

Our month begins with Jupiter & Pluto in the retrograde mode. Saturn goes direct on the 5th, so for all practical purposes we can consider APRIL an all systems go month. There may be a few of the “re’s” to do though. (Re-schedule, re-write, re-pair, you get the picture.)
Best planting & project launching days look to be the 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th, 19th, 20th, 23rd, 24th, 27th, & 28th.
On the 2nd VENUS trines PLUTO... lots of aspects. The 4th MERCURY trines JUPITER... rewarding, Enjoy. On the 8th with MARS opposition to PLUTO you may have a strong need to assert your opinions. The 10th has VENUS quincunx SATURN This is where those opinions could upset your romantic harmony. We have a Full Moon on the 13th, with MERCURY square PLUTO -- watch out for minor mistakes and overspending. The 18th has VENUS conjunct URANUS which could bring a new love interest, and with MERCURY square MARS, communications could be touchy or challenging. The 19th MERCURY trines SATURN -- a good time to make realistic decisions. On the 20th MERCURY trines JUPITER -- a rewarding day... Enjoy. The 26th has MERCURY quincunx JUPITER. Watch out: those exaggerated ideas could cloud your judgement. The 29th MERCURY sextiles NEPTUNE. Listen to your intuitive awareness. The 30th has VENUS square PLUTO, so be careful not to judge others too harshly. With that, looks like a very good month -- lets make the most of it!

March 2006 (Scroll down for February 2006)

Our month begins with only SATURN in the retrograde mode. She is joined by JUPITER on the 31st so for all practical purposes we can consider MARCH an all systems go month.
Best planting & project launching days look to be the 4th & 5th, with the 8th, 9th & 10th good, & the 31st OK as well. The 4th brings a mercury square PLUTO - watch tempers!
The 11th brings a VENUS opposition to SATURN & MARS square URANUS - a mixed bag to handle. the Full Moon of the 14th is enhanced by a MERCURY trine JUPITER. ENJOY! The 16th brings a JUPITER square to NEPTUNE - beware of delusions! The 18th holds a MERCURY square MARS - not one of our nicer days. The 25th brings VENUS square JUPITER and MARS trine NEPTUNE. VENUS conjuncts NEPTUNE & trines MARS the next day - could be a confusing time. We have a New Moon on the 29th but no more aspects, just JUPITER going retrograde on the 31st.
Looks like a very good month, lets make the most of it!

February 2006 (Scroll down for January 2006)

Our month begins with SATURN & VENUS in the retrograde mode. VENUS is much harder to handle, but we can do it. Happily She turns direct on Feb. 2nd so we just have to handle the last couple of days.
Best planting & project launching days look to be the 4th & 5th , with the 9th & 10th good, & the 28th OK as well. The 5th brings a Mercury square Mars- watch tempers! The sextile to Pluto the next day should soften things a bit. Just enjoy all the way to the Full Moon of the 12th. The 14th brings a mixed bag with Venus sextiling Jupiter while Mercury conjucts Uranus- just live it! The 19th brings a nice trine of Mercury & Jupiter- enjoy! Mercury's sextile Venus on the 23rd is a pleasant way to make it all the way to the New Moon of the 27th followed by Mercury square Pluto Mars sextile Saturn & Mercury sextile Venus.
With only Saturn retrograde we might consider it an all systems go month.- Enjoy!

January 2006 (Scroll down for December 2005)

Our month begins with SATURN & VENUS in the retrograde mode. VENUS is much harder to handle, but we can do it. Happily She turns direct on Feb. 2nd so we just have to handle the month at hand very carefully.
No significant aspects until MERCURY sextiles URANUS on the 8th . Nicely gentle energy to be enjoyed. On the 13th MERCURY trines MARS while sextiling JUPITER- more pleasant energy. The Full Moon of the 14th brings a MARS conjunction to JUPITER- friendly & fun, Watch for delusion on the 18th when MARS squares NEPTUNE. Kind of a mixed bag. Stay relaxed.
I don’t consider planting, etc.. while under a retrograde VENUS. Just relax and let it be as peaceful as possible.
Overall it’s OK- just LIVE it!

December 2005 (Scroll down for November 2005)

Our month begins with Mars, Saturn & Mercury retrograde. Mercury goes direct on the 3rd and Mars does it on the 9th, leaving only Saturn in the retrograde mode for most of the month – very close to all systems go!
Best project Launching & planting days look to be the 4th 8th & 9th with the 12th & 13th pretty good also.
The New Moon of the 1st is slighted tainted by the tail end of the retrograde Mercury but we can use it anyway. Mercury sextile Venus while Mars opposes Jupiter should liven up the 4th pretty well No Aspects until the 10th when Mercury sextiles Venus again – nicer this time without the Mars/Jupiter confusion.
The Full Moon of the 15th will tend to bring out lots of screwballs – try not to be one of ‘em. Jupiter squares Saturn on the 17th – watch carefully for your lesson. Mercury squares Uranus on the 18th - don’t let it get in the way of His nice trine to Saturn on the 21st There’s an inspirational sextile of Mercury to Neptune on the 25th – enjoy! Watch tempers on he 27th when Mars squares Saturn – outbursts could be expensive.
We get a fresh New Moon on the 30th setting us up to start the New Year right. Let’s do it together. Overall we’re gonna wrap up 2005 pretty neatly - HAPPY NEW YEAR!

November 2005 (Scroll down for October 2005)

Our month begins with Mars & Neptune in the retrograde mode – Mercury joins them on the 14th Neptune goes direct on the 15th and Saturn turns retrograde on the 22nd. This leaves Mars, Mercury and Saturn retrograde for the rest of the month. Kind of messy but we can handle it – even Mercury.
The 1st brings us a New Moon for a 14 day window for project launching and such. Best planting days look to be the 2nd & 3rd, 6th & 7th, & 10th & 11th
Mercury squares Uranus on the 5th – watch your & everybody’s temper. Mars squares Neptune on the 7th beware of sloppy conclusions. Venus sextiles Jupiter on the 8th, lots of very positive energy – enjoy. The 12th brings a sextile of Venus to Uranus, pleasant energy to be harnessed for your projects.
The 15th brings a Full Moon – not too many crazies, don’t be one of ‘em. Venus trines Mars on the 17th bringing positive energy to help further your pet projects. But the Mars square to Saturn the next day puts a bit of a damper on it all. Mercury square Uranus on the 21st puts a strain on tempers everywhere. Jupiter trine Uranus on the 27th adds lots of life to your pet projects.
Overall it’s a pretty nice month. Just slip into the plod mode while Mercury is retrograde.
